How did I manage to get so many freebies?

Follow this guide and you'll soon find out!

Step 1: Create a new account.

Now what people don't want to tell you is you have to be referred to get the free trial. 

So find someone to refer you, here is the one I used: (link broken)

Yes the link is freaking long. But I don't want people to think that I am phishing. I will find out how I can refer, but for the meantime. This is the one that I used.

You can see it's the official RS website up there.

(When you log in the person whose referral link you signed up under will automatically be added to your friends list. So that way you will know who referred you, their in-game name will show up in blue, with a little symbol next to it. You can PM for some help if you need to. They will also have your name in their friends list, unless they delete you for some reason. Then add me and I'll see about helping you out. But not of the monetary kind though...)

Step 2. You will have to sign up with an email address, make sure it's one that you can actually access. Not a fake one. Because you need to click on the confirmation link in the email that Jagex sends you.

Step 3. Create your character, display name etc... 

This is pretty straight forward. 

Step 4. Log in to a members world if you aren't. Go through the quick tutorial steps. 

The tutorial is fairly long. If you are a new player you can go through the whole thing, may take you the whole 14 days to do so. But if you're a seasoned pro... (I like to pretend I am :P) then when you get out of the cave, and have blasted the cannon to block the tunnel entrance, then by all means turn OFF the tutorial mode.

If for some reason you can't view images (please throw your pc/laptop out the window... just kidding! :P)

Here's how to do it.

Step 1: Click on the tasks icon.

Step 2: Click on 'Open Tasks List' button that shows up.

Step 3: Click on 'Options' button, located at the top of the pop up. Located top right.

Step 4: Click on 'Tutorial is ON' button. Then click OK.

All done.

Now, go out and enjoy all that members has to offer.

A few cons about the free trial that you might like to consider before going and trying it out. 

1. You are limited to storing 300 of 1 type of item. Totally sucks when you have over 5k feathers from killing chickens. 

2. You can only buy and sell items on the Grand Exchange in sets of 50. Again.. this is really bad if you are trying to sell all of your items before your trial runs out. LOL!

What about 2x the XP in 7 days?

Once you hit level 30 in any skill, the 2x XP will no longer apply. 

So if you are training Rune-crafting, which I recommend. Once you get to level 30, you'll receive the normal amount of xp.

I was woodcutting in world 60 Seers Village. Maples were not really that populated. Until after 5pm NZ time. Then the bots came flooding in. Their was a bot picking flax. Well a few of them. Unless he was super bored and wanting to pick flax for a solid 24 hours! Or at least thats what I thought. I logged in, in the evening. Logged out a few hours chopping. Then this morning, and again now. He is still at it I guess. Unless he breaks when I don't log. Which could be a possibility. Hmmm.

Anyway, I was chopping for fletching.

I must say competition for trees is quite annoying when bots log in and sass all the logs. My poor low level woodcutting! :(

I decided I would log my progress in this game. If you don't know what game I am on about. It's here: Runescape.

I played Soul Wars for fun today. I haven't played that game in ages. There was an annoying clan controlling which side won the game. It's annoying but meh. Not much I can do about it. Soul War Legends once controlled world 9. I'm not too sure who is running the games now. Bunch of noobs I think lol.

If you want to try Soul Wars, DO NOT GO ON THE SOUL WAR WORLDS. You'll forever have to wait for a game. Try worlds 2 or 9. They usually have games going. You are likely to get 2 zeals most of the time. Well that's where I always play.
